Saving young lives since 1982.
Life Smart Kids is Life Ed Vic's fundraising arm and we pioneer in prevention strategies in health + wellbeing education.
Working on the streets of Kings Cross through the Wayside Chapel, our founder the late Ted Noffs witnessed young lives devastated by drugs and alcohol on a daily basis.
This experience convinced him that Australia needed a national health + wellbeing education program to empower children to make safer and healthier life choices.
Why should you support
Life Smart Kids?
Prevention is better than a curer.
Education has a critical role to play in equipping students with the life skills needed to succeed in a global, complex and ever changing world.
We reimagine education so every young person can have the life skills to thrive in a world of constant change.
40+ years on, we still continue to deliver impactful program through high impact teaching strategies
Working closely with the Department of Education, Victoria and our 4 key principles are based on:
Amplify Student Voice | Amplify Learner Agency | Build Teacher Capacity | Developing Life Smart Kids through a child centered, life skills approach
In 2019 we launch our new groundbreaking Healthy Harold Heroes program - a program all about project-based action learning.
